Monkey D. Dragon is one of the strongest characters in One Piece. He is known as the infamous Revolutionary leader who has been attempting to overthrow the World Government. He is also the father of Monkey D. Luffy and the son of Monkey D. Garp.
Monkey D. Dragon is the World Government’s greatest enemy, and is the most dangerous and most wanted man in the world. But we still don’t know how did he get that title of the World’s most wanted man? What made him so infamous? Well, I have a theory of why Dragon is the most wanted man in the world.
I think Monkey D. Dragon was once a marine, and he even has a high level marine. After Roger died, Roger’s devil fruit reappeared and the Marines/World Government got hold of it somehow. Dragon with his position gained Government’s trust, he approached Roger’s devil fruit and stole it for himself. Then, he formed the Revolutionary Army and planned to overthrow the World Government. But why did he do that?
I believe that Dragon knows the World Government’s secrets. Maybe Dragon talked with Roger in the past. Thanks to that, he knows a lot of dirty things about the World Government and Blank Century. That’s why he wants to overthrow the World Government.
I guess Dragon also took over some countries that are under the World Government. Plus, he has an army at his command to directly challenge the World Government’s power. Also, some theories suggest that he obtained one of the three Ancient Weapons of Destruction. These things made him the most dangerous man in the world.
