The One Piece manga is current in the middle of the Wano Country arc. Meanwhile, One Piece’s anime was already nearing the end of the Whole Cake Island arc. Fans have been especially nervous as to when the anime series would come here. Now they have an idea as a release window for the anime’s Wano Country arc has surfaced online. According to report from YonkouProd, the Wano Country arc will begin in the anime this Summer, it will be aired by this July.
Before the Wano Country arc officially begins, there will be a smaller arc in between Whole Cake Island and Wano Country, that is the Reverie arc, and it’s certainly very exciting. In this arc, we will see the return of many favorite characters from the series past as various world leaders and royalty meet for the special meeting in which they discuss the state of the world.
In the manga, the Reverie arc began at One Piece Chapter 903 and ended at One Piece Chapter 907. That’s almost four chapters since half of each of those chapters is stuff not related to the Reverie. I expect the anime will give us more information about the Reverie.
Also, in the manga, we saw Yonko Shanks show up at Mary Geoise and easily set up a meeting with Gorosei. But we didn’t know anything about this meeting and the connection between Shanks and Gorosei, the anime can reveal many of the larger details about them.
Wano is hyped up to the biggest and the best One Piece arc ever, and I’m certainly expecting the anime staff to make huge efforts in it, just like they did in the Whole Cake Island arc. I think the Wano Country arc will begin at around One Piece Episode 890. But it’s just my opinion, if you have your own opinions, don’t forget to leave them in the comments section down below.
