The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is a fleet formed by seven pirate crews who vowed to serve under Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. The Fleet’s members were allies of Luffy during the Dressrosa Arc.
Formed from various powerful crews who managed to succeed in the New World, the representatives and some other members have been prime contestants of the Corrida Colosseum. In sheer numbers, they have a grand total of 5,640 people from various tribes and races; giving them quite the versatility in strength and attributes. All seven leaders are extremely powerful and formidable fighters, five of them being strong enough to defeat executives of the Donquixote Pirates.
As we all know, Luffy has become an Emperor. When Luffy’s bounty was recently announced together with Kid and Law, the 3 captains were equal and only Luffy had the Emperor title? Why was that? I believe the Straw Hat Grand Fleet played a big role in Luffy becoming a new Emperor.
I saw a post in the community where their bounty was based on the total bounty of Big Mom and Kaido, which is roughly around 9B and split between the three of them. Which makes sense for me, now the next mystery would be why only Luffy got to have the title. Is it because he defeated Kaido alone? It might be. But then an idea comes in mind, it also might be because of what is happening outside Wano.

This only shows the Straw Hat Grand Fleet has been wreaking havoc all over the Grand Line spreading the Strawhats’ influence and the marines can’t control it. This also aligns with how Buggy must’ve been crowned as emperor, due to his influence and he must’ve amassed a fleet with big names that the marines can’t control.
