Dragon Ball Super: Broly was the most successful film release in the Dragon Ball franchise both critically and commercially, this film directed by Tatsuya Nagamine. Rumors and reports were abuzz that Nagamine would be leaving the Dragon Ball franchise after his work with Dragon Ball Super: Broly, so fans were wondering what he would do next.

It’s confirmed that Tatsuya Nagamine will be directing One Piece beginning from Wano country arc.

It has been revealed that Tatsuya Nagamine will take care of the One Piece anime starting from Wano’s narrative arc, whose debut is scheduled for July 2019 in Japan. Wano country arc is the most anticipated arc of One Piece. It is easily the biggest arc ever both in terms of length and awesomeness.

So, One Piece creators are leaving no stone unturned in order to bring the best people on board for this arc. Right now we have been witnessing some ultra-slow pacing of adaptation in One Piece anime, but that is because they don’t want to compromise on the quality of Wano country arc as most of the One Piece anime staff right now is busy working on One Piece Stampede movie which is scheduled to release in a couple of months.

In the past, Tatsuya Nagamine has already dealt with One Piece, precisely with One Piece Film Z. As a One Piece fan, I think One Piece Film Z is also a great movie.
