Howdy One Piece fans! I found the theory about the 4 Gods mentioned in Skypiea. I went looking for clues to see what it can be. So here’s what I found.
I began looking for the reverie arc because I remembered that Im-sama was really pissed while looking at Luffy’s poster. Now, that we know more about Joy Boy and his powers, I understand why Im-sama was pissed.
In Chapter 908, Im-sama had 4 posters in her/his hands: Luffy, Shirahoshi, Vivi and Blackbeard. Connection is easy, but I went digging to search some proofs for it to be tangible.
First: We all know Luffy is the Sun God. It’s clear, no proofs needed.
Second : Vivi, my guess is that she is the God of the rain, and here’s why.
At the end of the Alabasta arc, it started to rain just as Vivi started to yell. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. It’s kinda similar to the scene with Shirahoshi awakening her Sea King powers. I know that it was pretty clear that it was Smoker using the powder, but the timing and meaning are uncanny.
Also, Alabasta has a city called Rainbase. It served as Baroque Works’ main headquarters. Rainbase is one of the few cities within the country that continued thriving even during the drought orchestrated by Crocodile. Because of this, it has been referred to as the “City of Dreams”.
Third: The Forest God is Shirahoshi. This one is a reach I must be honest, but I still found some interesting stuff. She has a strange addiction to the forest. Here are some examples, but there is a lot more.
The last but not least. The God of Earth is Blackbeard. It all makes sense because he has the tremor tremor fruit, and he was looking for it.
