As the rival of the former Pirate King Gol D. Roger, the grandfather of the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and reputedly the strongest Marine despite his rank as a Vice-Admiral, does Garp have Conqueror’s Haki?
Roger’s been confirmed a user of all three types of Haki, and we’ve seen him use contactless blows using Conqueror’s Haki coating. This either means Garp had such overwhelmingly powerful Armament Haki that he could match a Supreme Grade sword coated with Conqueror’s Haki with just his fists, or, and far more likely, he also possesses Conqueror’s Haki and literally matched Roger, blow for blow.
I think when Luffy used his Conqueror’s Haki during Marineford war, Garp said something like, “of course he does”. I think this subtly implied Garp has it, and so does Dragon.
Also, Chapter 1080 showed Monkey D. Garp destroying entire town with his fist – Galaxy Impact. The special thing was that Garp’s fist didn’t even touch the ground. This scene looks like the clash using Advanced Conqueror’s Haki that we’ve seen between Luffy and Kaido or Roger and Whitebeard.
And keen-eyed fans could spot one specific aspect about the chapter – the black tendrils signifying Conqueror’s Haki.
The sheer power as well as the offensive capability of Garp’s Haki ensures that he could not only use the Conqueror’s Haki, but also coat his fist with it. As such, with this reveal, Garp joins Luffy, Zoro, Yamato, Roger, Whitebeard, Rocks, Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom as an Advanced Conqueror’s Haki user.
