One Piece Chapter 958 was released last week, it marked the start of the Wano Arc Act 3. Oda delivered a great chapter, many fans are shocked to the unexpected events happened in this chapter.
In the previous chapter, Momonosuke and the Nine Red Scabbards members gathered at Port Tokage, but they found no one. Their original plan was to have a get-together at the meet-up location before they plan out their first wave of attack. However, their enemies seem to have made a move before their arrival.
Kinemon tried to reach Luffy and Grandpa Hyo, but he heard nothing in return. While Momonosuke and the Nine Red Scabbards haven’t yet known where their allies are, Shogun Orochi revealed that an incident occurred the night before the raid. The happenings during the raid can be revealed in One Piece Chapter 959.
In addition, from Orochi’s words it seems that Luffy and the others were defeated by Orochi’s army. But I don’t think so, I believe they pretended to lose this battle. It will catch Orochi off guard, Luffy and the others will use this neglect to raid Onigashima.
Also, some believe that they intentionally isolated the Scabbards upon realizing that a traitor working for Orochi has infiltrated their troops. We know for a fact that there is a traitor in the group. Someone gave information to Orochi, but we don’t know who that is right now.

Oda is taking a short break, so the manga will return in issue 47 of Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump. The next chapter is expected to be released on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019.
