One Piece Chapter 955 is already out and it’s an awesome chapter for me. Chapter 955 showed us a lot of interesting upgrades to the main characters of the manga. As we saw in the previous chapter, Luffy unlocked a power up to his Haki, while Zoro has just tested the power of his new sword.
Thanks to the supervision of Hyogoro, Monkey D. Luffy has achieved a new type of Haki level that allows him to damage any obstructions without even touching them. But is Luffy’s new Haki enough to defeat Kaido? It seems that even Hyogoro himself is not so sure, that’s why he pushed Luffy to the limit.
On the other hand, Zoro decided to get the sword Enma. He also showed the power of Enma by just aiming to cut a tree but instead of just cutting the tree, Zoro cut the whole cliff.
These new upgrades that Luffy and Zoro received will surely help them in the final war. But I don’t think it’s enough to take down Kaido and Big Mom alliance. According to Robin, the numbers of the enemy is more than 30,000, and Luffy’s allies only have about 4,200 at this point. This will make the fight harder than ever, but we still have the rebels who were caught by Orochi.
Because Franky is building ships for 10,000 people and not just 4,200. This means they will have more people joining to depart for Onigashima. Thus, I think Kinemon and the others will make a plan to free these rebels.
Also, One Piece Chapter 955 marked the end of Wano Arc Act 2, so it’s a great time for Oda to update on the whereabouts of other important characters like Bege and significant events like the Reverie. However, Fans would be delighted if One Piece Chapter 956 will pick up directly from the events in Chapter 955. Fans certainly want to know if Luffy’s new Haki will be enough for him to defeat Kaido or not? Maybe, we will have some suggestions in the next chapter of One Piece manga.
