One Piece Chapter 1042 will be released this Sunday. However, scans for this chapter might be released this Friday. Today, some early spoilers for the upcoming chapter have surfaced online. So, I will be sharing them with you in this post. Here’s what we know about the next chapter.

One Piece Chapter 1042 title: “”Winners” need no excuse”.

– In the cover, Oven is carrying Vinsmoke’s book to Whole Cake Island.

– X Drake Vs. CP0 boss. Drake stabs CP0 boss, who then turns and hits Drake’s throat with a “Shigan”.

– The rest is Luffy Vs. Kaidou. We can see 3 new Kaidou’s “Drunk modes”.

– Luffy changes to “Boundman” form and uses a new attack called “Gomu Gomu no Over Kong Gun”. Kaidou uses a new attack too called “Raihou Hakke”.

– At the end of the chapter, CP0 boss appears and Luffy got distracted. Kaidou brutally hits Luffy.

– Kaidou is completely shocked, his expression is heartbreaking when he sees that the same thing that happened with Oden has happened again.

For 2 decades, Kaido had to live with the feeling that his battle with Oden was never fair because Oden got distracted. Then, after all these years, he starts having fun and gets his hopes up against an opponent who can actually hold their own against him, only for that hope to be ripped away by a CP-0 agent.
