Garp’s strength
Garp is an expert user of haki, his fists are incredibly powerful. He claimed to have crushed eight mountains during his training to face Chinjao. In addition to his legendary strength, Garp has extreme stamina and an absurd tolerance for pain, as shown when Captain Morgan attacks him and can withstand the cut from Morgan’s ax without issue or pain.
Gol D. Roger said that he and Garp nearly killed each other on many occasions. The fact that Garp could fight Gol D. Roger implies that he is one of the strongest characters in the series.
Kuzan’s strength
As a former marine admiral, Kuzan’s strength is also amazing. During the war at Marineford, he was unharmed after receiving a kick from Marco. Also, even after being hit violently by Jaws, he only sustained a flesh wound. And during his encounter with Doflamingo, Kuzan managed to appear behind the pirate without the latter being able to notice and freeze him before he could further injure Smoker.

Garp vs Kuzan
Meeting finally after many years, Kuzan and Garp engaged in a bitter duel in the most recent manga chapters. It was a truly amazing fight between two very powerful characters. I think this will be just a flash fight and Garp will win this battle.
Certainly, Kuzan definitely has a more versatile set of powers, especially due to his Devil Fruit powers. Still, Monkey D. Garp has once again shown why he is one of the most powerful Marines in the series, as his raw strength – as the manga leaks suggest – was enough for him to overpower Kuzan and defeat him.
Garp probably did not kill him, and fans are still debating what the leaks mean for Garp’s post-battle fate, but as it seems, he will be able to defeat Kuzan and save Koby, as he intended from the very beginning.
